The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 effective in all EU countries from 25 May 2018 governs the processing and circulation of personal data across the EU. Personal data protection is also governed by the amended Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978. 

This privacy policy pertains to the POWDER2POWER website, accessible at https://powder2power-project.eu/ (the “Website”), informing users (“you” or “user”) the processing of their personal data in compliance with the GDPR and the Data Protection Act.

DATA CONTROLLER:

The Website is managed by SAS CSP-Boost (hereinafter, the “Data Controller”, “we” or “us”), a partner of the POWDER2POWER project in charge of communication, dissemination and exploitation. SAS CPP-Boost is registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Perpignan under the number 909 654 055, whose registered office is located at 9 rue des Ecureuils 66120 Font-Romeu, France, VAT number: FR67909654055. 

WEBSITE OPERATORS

The Website has been developed by (1) the AttrapTemps SARL company, with a share capital of 30 000 Euros, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Perpignan under the number 407 836 089 000 42, whose registered office is located at 70 avenue Alfred Kastler 66100 Perpignan – France, and (2) the Emmaluc SARL company, with a share capital of 8 000 Euros, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Perpignan under the number 753 228 287, whose registered office is located at 11 rue Pierre Rameil 66100 Perpignan – France. These companies are the Website operators (the “Website Operator”) contractually linked to the Data Controller for the provision of services within the purposes of the Website development, management, and maintenance.  

DATA COLLECTION

POWDER2POWER, including Data Controller and Website Operators, collects non-personally identifying information to understand user behavior on the website. Personally-identifying information light be collected when users interact with specific features, such as event registration or newsletter sign-up.

We collect and process, notably, your name, surname, address, email address, password, phone number, IP address, connection data, navigation data, order history, preferences, and interests, viewed pages, requests, and complaints. The mandatory nature of the data is indicated to you during collection by an asterisk.

TRANSMISSION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data are processed by POWDER2POWER and made accessible only to individuals authorized based on their roles. It may be transmitted to CSP-Boost for website administration and order management, as well as to web services suppliers and operators contractually linked to the Data Controller, such as AttrapTemps. Data Controller engages these suppliers for the provision of services within the purposes mentioned below.

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING 

Your personal data is processed by POWDER2POWER for the following purposes:

  • Allowing access to and usage of the Website, ensuring the best possible experience and quality online navigation,
  • Managing the relationship between you and POWDER2POWER, and
  • Developing and improving our products, services, communication methods, and the Website functionality.

POWDER2POWER may collect statistics about Website’s visitor behavior and may display this information publicly or provide it to others.

DATA SECURITY

POWDER2POWER implements all reasonably technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction. This processing is based on your consent.

CONSENT MECHANISM FOR COOKIES POLICY

DATA RETENTION

Data allowing identification and targeting in surveys (email, profile) are kept until unsubscribed, after which they will be permanently deleted. However, if your account remains inactive for a period of two (2) years, you will be notified by POWDER2POWER, and if you do not respond within the specified timeframe communicated by POWDER2POWER, your data will be deleted.

Responses to surveys conducted by POWDER2POWER are kept for a period of 3 years, after which this data is deleted. However, these retention periods may be extended or shortened if:

  • You exercise one of the rights recognized to you as outlined below;
  • A longer retention period is authorized or imposed under legal or regulatory provisions, or to safeguard our rights.

USER RIGHTS

You have:

  • The right of access, which allows you to obtain:
  • Confirmation whether data concerning you is being processed or not;
  • Communication of a copy of all personal data held by the data controller.

This right applies to all data whether or not it is subject to processing by the data controllers.

  • The right to request data portability: It allows you to retrieve your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. It applies only to data provided actively, for example, by filling out a form, responding to a survey, and processed automatically.
  • The right to withdraw consent: Withdrawing your consent to the processing of your personal data, given during your registration on the platform, leads to your immediate unsubscribe from the platform. You will no longer have access to the platform, and all your personal data will be deleted immediately.
  • The right to rectification: It allows you to correct any information concerning you when it is obsolete or incorrect. It also allows you to complete incomplete information concerning you.
  • The right to erasure: It allows you to obtain the deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention periods. It may apply, in particular, if your data is no longer necessary for processing.
  • The right to restriction: It allows you to limit the processing of your data in the following cases:
  • In the event of unlawful use of your data;
  • If you dispute the accuracy of your data;
  • If you need the data to establish, exercise, or defend your rights.

You can establish general or specific directives with a trusted third party or directly with the data controller regarding the storage, erasure, and communication of your personal data after your death.
